WordPress Widgets make it easy to customize the content of your sidebar. When you install wordpress plugins, some will require you to drag a widget into an area of your wordpress blog sidebar in the backend administration dashboard. You can access the widgets area from the Appearance menu on the left hand side of your WordPress Dashboard.
