The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc follows the HTC Desire HD with integrated Facebook and twitter along with other popular services such as YouTube allowing you to instantly share photos and videos with all your friends. The handset also has an internal aGPS antenna which allows it to offer automatic Geotagging to your captured media, and Google
map integration for directions form A to B.
The handset has the Android operating system which allows you to have more than one application running on the handset at any time, so you can be listening to music on the Media Player while replying to an email through the unified email client which offers multiple accounts. As with other Android handsets such as the HTC Desire HD, you can also add more apps to your phone and customise features such your wallpaper and themes on the home screen. There is also an easy to use text and multimedia messaging editor along with support for instant messaging and Exchange ActiveSync.
The Xperia Arc as with the HTC Desire HD offers both photo capture and video recording in High Definition via its powerful 8.1 megapixel camera which offers both auto and touch focus along with the aid of an LED flash for greater light when in poor surrounding light. Other features include the ability to Send to Web the media you capture, sending it to a personal blog or website instantly. Other options beside standard email and multimedia messaging include the Timescape user interface which integrates Twitter and Facebook into the handset also.
The phone has great connectivity offering an HDMI connection allowing you to watch back your HD videos on a large High Definition television set or laptop, so you can enjoy a fuller view of the videos you have, you can also use it to show YouTube or other videos streamed to the handset on a larger display. Additionally, as with most other handsets such as the Desire HD, you also have a 3.5mm audio jack connector for headphones, Bluetooth for wireless file sharing and a microUSB port for fast file sharing and syncing with your computer.
