The HTC Gratia provides Friend Stream with integrated Facebook as does the HTC Wildfire providing easy contact with your friends wherever you go. The handset has a compact 3.2 inch display with pinch to zoom capability and provides video and photo capture with its 5 megapixel camera on the rear.
The handset features good connectivity with both Bluetooth 2.1 (with enhanced data rate) and a standard microUSB connector including support for internet sharing through the connection and fast syncing with a Windows PC. The Bluetooth also provides FTP file sharing protocol profile, and the A2DP profile for using a stereo wireless headset for music and audio rather than the standard headphones, for which a connector is also provided. Such features are synonymous with other HTC handsets including the Wildfire respectively.
The Gratia is running the Android 2.1 operating system which is enhanced by the HTC Sense user interface which offers cohesive contact details through the Friend Stream app and others, allowing you to view Facebook details about your friends onscreen as you search your contacts list. It includes the ability to see their latest status updates, and also to create an up to date one for yourself. Meanwhile the Peep widget also allows easy tweeting on Twitter, while both Twitter and Facebook also have dedicated apps available respectively. Other contact with friends is possible through the unified text and multimedia messaging editor which allows you to send text as well as photos and videos to friends instantly.
The phone also includes a 5 megapixel camera for video recording and taking great pictures while ob the move. As well as being aided by the auto focus, there is also widescreen photo capture availability. Both photos and videos can be automatically tagged geographically, with the location based services offered through the internal GPS receiver present. This is great for organizing photos and videos into albums quickly, as you can go by location and not just date, and this is also featured on the HTC Wildfire too. Other location based services include Footprints offering turn by turn navigation and Google
map integration offering comprehensive on-screen maps for you as you move from one place to the next, including local points of interest.
The HTC Gratia is a compact and smart looking handset featuring a greta 5 megapixel camera along with easy to use software through its Sense interface along with the entire power of the Android 2.1 operating system, including its simplicity to use.
