Paypal is an ecommerce site; it is an integrated online payment solution for making business transactions. Paypal serves as an alternative to the traditional modes of payment such as checks and money orders.
Paypal is accepted in almost every website online, due to it's secure payment structure most merchant and web surfers prefer it over the other online payment solutions like credit/debit cards, alertpay, egold, liberty reserve, ebullion, etc...
Everybody is going paypal crazy these days! I mean everyone just want to integrate that paypal button into their site, to some it's a sign of security especially when their clients want to place an order.
With paypal integration you are at least %90 sure that your funds won't get into the hands of hackers when doing transactions online whether you are paying or receiving money online. It is the safest form of payment online now! It is the "in thing".
Why is paypal preferred above the others?
This is probably because paypal has the safest, secure and advanced technology which makes it difficult for hackers to break in their servers. This is probably what the other payment solutions don't have.
They do these by tracking IP addresses of their clients' everytime! Everywhere! Placing restrictions on some countries popularly known for scams from using their services, etc...
It is these strict and daunting but yet controversial position that makes it the best choice of the "online world". That is why hackers can't mess around with them due to their strict measures put in place. This is what others don't have!
Judging from these, you will discover that paypal is definitely not for all "tom, dick and harry" as the popular saying goes. It is for a few people who can abide by the rules, play by the rules, live by the rules. You know what I mean isn't it?
