Sometimes pressure of meting a deadline or making more money by filling in more forms is the reason why there are mistakes in one's work. And since if you are working in the data entry field you know that your work will be seen by others, it is important to have the data presented in an easy to understand way. If you are filling in online forms you have to pay special attention to spelling and word phrasing. If you can do your data entry work offline you can always use a spell check program to help you with the most common spelling mistakes or to attention you of word phrasing. However you should not reply solely on these kinds of programs, but try to work as fast as you can and as accurate as you can.

Imagine they are using some of that data to make a report. If your data is not accurate their report will not be accurate either. It is not always that we can control the data quality. If you are working as a data entry person as part of a data entry program you can always ask for support and guidance from the company you work for, but you will not be blamed for the low level of the data quality unless there are a lot of typing related mistakes. However if you have a home based business that provides data entry service you might end up losing some of the customers because of the negative feedback you will receive for the low data quality of the typed document.
