Overloaded Features?
These days there are just so many ecommerce solutions that are available in the market and many of them come with quite a number of features. The question is whether these features are necessary or not to meet the business needs of the online user or are they just plain taking up space and giving the service providers another reason to charge merchants for using them? I have come across a few Shopping cart
integration that are just overloaded with features that I find would not be used by many online merchants out there.
Is The Cart Easy To Use And Integrate?
Many online merchants need an ecommerce shopping cart that is easy to use and one that is able to integrate with other software providers without any problems. However, since they are basically business owners and not a bunch of programmers, they obviously do not have the time to test everything out as they expect a workable product when they sign up for it. The cart needs to be able to integrate with other popular service provider's applications so that the merchant does not need to sign in to different applications all over the place. The idea is that the shopping cart acts as a central point for the merchant to access all their other third party applications. Merchants who are selling on eBay or who need to import products from popular drop ship companies like Doba will be thankful if these features work seamlessly within their cart.
Feedback Is Important
To improve on your online business, you will need to know what are your customer's feedback in order to make the necessary changes to your online store in order to serve them better. Is your current cart causing you more problems than providing the solutions to solve them? How fast can you get your problem solved is a clear indication on how effective your cart and service provider's technical support is. Does your cart come with these type of emergency help that you can count on when you run into any problem with the solution to get things solved? Or do they charge you for helping you?
